  This real estate company completely ruined our holidays. We arrived to a pre-paid, pre-booked holiday house and the passcode to enter did not work. Telephoned them to sort it out and we could not get any response at all. The time was about 6pm at night and we had no-where to stay and no way to get into the house! We ended up paying for completely substandard cabin accommodation in a local caravan park and expected a refund from Dodd and Rage but instead, they refused outright and then the next day demanded we pay for a weekend call-out to open the property!!
  They lie, cheat and scam their way into your wallets. 2% credit card fees but they won't accept cash, fees to issue a cheque to return the departure guarantee and they lied about mess in the house and tried to keep our guarantee. We had to threaten them with Fair Trade and lawyers to get 90% of our money back and lost the $40 booking fee. How they keep their license is beyond us, a completely horrible debacle. Do not use this company do not even ask them for directions, they'll demand cash payment up front.
